PUZZLE MAKING

Things you will need:

Child's drawing

Scan and make a copy if possible

Alternatives:

Photograph
Picture from a magazine or newspaper

Cardboard packaging

Alternatives:

Card
Cereal box

Glue and Scissors

Keep the original copy of the picture safe. This is going to be the visual reference (plus you wouldn't want someone coming along and messing with your artwork).

Stick the copy to some cardboard.

Cut the new image into puzzle shapes.

Enjoy your new puzzle!

Ways to extend:

Cut into smaller puzzle pieces.
Ask your child to design the pieces for cutting.
